A Little Fish Learns to Hop
One morning at sea in Canada. A little fish lived in the sea.
He was not satisfied in his swimming. He was sad. He was unhappy.
He told himself, “I want to learn to hop. Then, I will be very happy.”
One day, he was swimming in the water. He saw a Dolphin in the sea.
He asked him, "I want to hop. If I ask, you can teach me or not?"
"Yes, I will teach you", the Dolphin said. The fish was very happy.
The Dolphin said- "One step you move and jump from the sea to the sky".
The little fish was very happy.
One day, the little fish saw a shark in the sea. The shark was coming fast to eat the fish.
The fish had an idea. He hopped and escaped over the shark’s open mouth.
The shark was very very angry.
And he got a heart-attack and died.
Moral: We should not be angry.
The Blue Fox
A rainforest in the Amazon Riverbanks.
There were thousands of animals in the forests.
One day, a fox came on the way and looked at the animals in the Amazon rainforest. The animals were enjoying a party.
The fox was very jealous. He had an idea. He jumped into blue paint. He put on the tail of an elephant, and its trunks and its ears.
An elephant came and asked the fox, "Are you an elephant?"
"Yes," said the fox, "today is my happy birthday".
All the animals were happy. The elephant gave a choco cake to all the animals. They all enjoyed the birthday party.
Then, the fox felt very sad. He ran to see his mom.
His mom was at home. He asked, "Is today my birthday?"
"No, son", said his mom. "Next week, your birthday will come".
The fox ran back to the party. The fox told the animals, "I am sorry. Next week only my birthday will come".
Moral: We should not tell lies.
‘A Little Fish Learns to Hop’ is a part of a set of three stories by different writers that will be considered for their writing styles. We shall, subsequently, discuss the three stories separately.

loved this passage the best. [Ed: A Little Fish Learns to Hop]
very consistent in tone and expression. the surprise ending (the so-called moral) was really humorous. but i guess that is the flip side to the passage: a little difficult to take it seriously.
but very funny!!

The first story actually made me chuckle. Amazingly, my grandma also told not be angry because I would suffer a heart-attack. Brought back nice memories!
